Worm is an OC of mine that is based off of sour gummy worms. I wanted to make a buddy for Tom that contrasted with his darker color palette and calm personality. his split dyed hair is meant to repesent the 2 colors on a gummy worm, and his personality and color palette being so bright and fun is meant to represent the sour flavor. he's not completely tied to sour gummy worms though, just loosely based off of them, so i didn't add any worm or candy motifs. the pops of blue in his design weren't originally there, only being his eye color initially. but, with all the pink and green i wanted to add a 3rd color to break it up so i used his eye color for his mouth and shorts to even things out a bit. he has bandaids littered across his face and arms, and currently i'm feeling 50/50 on if they're just there for aesthetic purposes or if they're because of him being covered in scrapes, because with him it could be either one. the shark teeth are just a fun aesthetic choice, no real reason for them other than that they feel like they're fitting for him. his design has changed the least so far out of my ocs, though that may change in the future since he's one of the newer ones.

worm is a very chaotic, impulsive, fun-loving character, who often has no regard for the law. if he thinks something is fun, he'll simply go and do it. he doesn't like being bored, and can get pretty restless when he has to deal with monotonus tasks. when going off to make some trouble and have fun he'll very often try to rope friends or partners into it as well, hoping that it's equally fun for them. sometimes he can get a bit pushy with it but he usually backs off when he can tell there's a clear lack of interest. being reckless is his way of passing the time and distracting himself from his thoughts. he doesn't really care for his own safety, so he can often get into some predicaments that aren't the most ideal, such as a number of injuries to varying degrees and making some enemies in town.
