Name: tom
Pronouns: he/him

Been an OC for 3 years
Tom is one of the characters people may see most often when looking though my art. He is another one of my grey-skinned OCs that came shortly after Mark. His design was originally fairly simple, having purple and pink hair, grey skin, antlers, etc. he used to just wear a black hoodie and shorts and had next to no personality at the time. I didn't have any specific direction for him other than making him "edgy". in 2024 he got a significant redesign as he was the character i focused on when joining a character design club at school. in this redesign i gave him a bit more style and changed up his silhouette. I focused mainly on keeping his color palette consistent, main colors being black, purple, and pink, with accents of brown for the eyes and horns and gold for jewelry. I simplified his antlers into horns - deciding to make him more like a tiefling but without a tail, made his hair thicker, and gave him more accessories and a better outfit that expressed his character a bit better. I kept this design for a few months before adjusting it a little bit. the main changes i had done was adjusting his body type a bit to have more of a stomach, gave him some body hair, and changed his hairstyle to not have 2 but 3 colors, and making his hair half-up and half-down. I also gave him some dark eyeshadow because the space between his droopy eyes and his eyebrows was bugging me. i forgot his age and accidentally made him younger than previously, which was not intended, i'm sticking with his original age which makes him 22.
Tom is a reserved but kind person. he's fairly introverted but has a lot of friends that he's gathered over the years. while he doesn't have much story to him, he does interact with my other characters a lot. i will be making more of a story for him soon
